Updated 17th March 2020
As the country continues to be affected by the coronavirus epidemic, we want to reflect best practice regarding our meeting together. As God's people we are called to behave both responsibly and compassionately for the sake of others in our communities.
In light of government guidelines regarding social distancing, we will be moving our ministries online. We are cancelling large and small group gatherings for an initial period of four weeks, and will then reassess this on a rolling monthly basis as the situation unfolds and Government advice is updated. This is in line with FIEC guidance.
Live streaming Sunday services
We are planning to live stream our Sunday services at 10.30am. Check back in the coming days for more details on how to access the service online.
Please continue to pray that God would protect the health of our community, that the government would deal with this crisis wisely and effectively, that people would not panic, and that believers would bear witness to our unshakeable hope in God.
And let's reflect on words such as these:
Then Jesus said to his disciples: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat; or about your body, what you will wear. For life is more than food, and the body more than clothes. Consider the ravens: They do not sow or reap, they have no storeroom or barn; yet God feeds them. And how much more valuable you are than birds! (Luke 12:22–24)
