Are you coming to university in Manchester this September? We’d love to meet you!
The Grace Church student ministry is committed to welcoming students into our church family to experience rich community, receive quality Bible teaching, and be built up to reach others in our city. Our goal is that you’ll leave university with a love for God that’s stronger than ever, being equipped to serve Him for the rest of your life. We want to live for Jesus in Manchester - come and join us!
Student Meeting Point - 22nd, 29th Sept, 6th Oct
For the first few Sundays of term, we'll have a student meeting point from where we can walk to church together. We'll meet at 9.55am, outside Caffe Nero on Wilmslow Road (M13 0JQ).
Every Sunday evening during term time we have Students@7, our weekly Bible study. Here we gather together and enjoy tasty food, before opening the Bible and studying it. We meet at 5 Victoria Grove, Fallowfield, M14 6BF (not far from Wilmslow Road), starting at 7pm.
We also have other fun events happening throughout the year including student lunches, weekends away, and Christmas/Summer parties!
Wider church life
Although we have a specific programme for students, we are passionate about them being integrated into the wider church family. They're given opportunities to serve, come into church membership, and get to know other Christians outside the student bubble! We run an 'Adopt-a-student' programme, where church members and families are linked up with students, and host them multiple times over the year.
All in all, our students are a core part of our church, and we want them to feel as much connection and ownership as anyone else in Grace Church!
Our church is very supportive of the university Christian unions (CUs). We encourage our students to get involved in them!
